Abstract: In this paper, we propose an algorithm to compute the fuzzy availability/reliability of k-out-of-n: F model. This system fails whenever at least k components in the system fail or it goes to the critical case, where the failure and repair rates are modelled by different types of triangular vague sets. Markov chain is used to develop generalised expressions for the system states. This paper includes a numerical example to illustrate the model.
