Abstract: In this study, we explore a renewal capability of an incumbent organisation meeting remarkable organisational change. The study focuses on analysing internal shared mindsets and dynamic capabilities and their influence on the organisational renewal. We utilise the dynamic capability view of the firm and the dominant logic research tradition as theoretical foundations for our study. In the empirical part, we explore also the impact of demographic characteristics, such as work experience, organisational level or attachment to subunits on attitudes towards change. Empirical data was collected by means of a quantitative survey, which was carried out for all the employees of the Finnish Broadcasting Company. Our findings demonstrate how different subgroups share different mindsets in relation to the new and old dominant logics. The findings also show differences between subunits in their dynamic capabilities.
