Abstract: Prediction strategies for the ball bearings behaviour are hard to identify and only in the theoretical way or only in the practical way (testing). The paper offers a combination of these two ways: a combination of practice - testing and theory - the finite element analysis in order to predict the _204 series ball bearings behaviour. The results from the tests are used as input data for the finite element analysis; the numerical results, from theory and from practice are used to predict the behaviour of the analysed ball bearings.
