Abstract: Sustainable development is one of the hot topics in modern world. Nevertheless, installing sustainable green features such as solar panels, rainwater collection plant, wind power turbines are not costless. Nevertheless, many countries in Latin America are not rich. Therefore, sustainable building finance and its knowledge sharing becomes important. The previous research in this area, however, is very limited. This paper tries to fill this gap via content analysis of journal article databases. We hypothesise that: 1) since many of countries in Latin America are developing countries, there is a lack of green finance source from the government; 2) as the publication time of journal articles is substantially slower than World Wide Web, there is substantially less articles in academic journal databases as compared to the websites; 3) there is only a limited number of articles that are in English. Majority are in Spanish. Language remains one of the major barriers in knowledge sharing for those who do not know Spanish.
