How does organisational culture affect the innovative behaviours? The mediating role of perceived insider status

Abstract: The role of the organisational culture in increasing the innovativeness which is an important factor for reaching the current competitive power is getting higher incessantly. The main question is to determine the effect of the developmental culture and rational culture on the innovative behaviours and the mediating role of the perceived insider status in that effect. The best model is tried to be defined by measuring attitudes of 426 employees with a research conducted in defence sector. As a result, it is determined that both cultures have positive effect on the innovative behaviour, and that the PIS have a mediating role in that effect.
