Cogeneration as a growth market in Germany

Abstract: The current state of cogeneration in Germany is reviewed, and the outlook for packaged cogenerations systems and for gas turbines is examined. A packaged system is used to illustrate the economic viability of cogeneration in Germany, and the environmental impact of the use of cogeneration is considered.
