The role of promotional organisations in the development of cogeneration
by Ton Van Der Does, Michael Brown, Bart Verhagen
International Journal of Global Energy Issues (IJGEI), Vol. 8, No. 4, 1996

Abstract: Organisations that promote CHP all have the same objective: stimulating the use of CHP. Since the development and perspectives for CHP differ, the existing CHP promotion agencies have different approaches, which reflect the stages of CHP development. The stages are: the demonstration stage; the promotion stage; the acceptance stage. The organisations proceed through these three stages but also, to a great degree, reflect the national, political and cultural frameworks of the countries in which they work.
