Abstract: The OREST system is a collection of knowledge representation, reasoning and interface tools that provides a programming environment for building knowledge-based expert systems. The user is provided with a graphics-oriented, highly interactive set of interface tools for editing and acquiring knowledge as well as for reasoning.
