An AI interpretation of the voting technique for the diagnosis of faults in systems

Abstract: This paper attempts to present a particular class of methods that has been proposed for the diagnosis of faults - those methods that are based on the voting technique - in a new form, interpreting their methodology in the conceptual framework of artificial intelligence work. It is expected that this representation will provide new insights into the reasoning intrinsic to these methods.
