by Ernst Goss, George Vozikis
International Journal of Computer Applications in Technology (IJCAT), Vol. 4, No. 1, 1991

Abstract: Economists and socialists have traditionally created and maintained their databases on secondary storage devices in the form of 'flat' files with accompanying integrity and redundancy problems. This paper presents an alternative methodology, the Entity-Relationship model, which circumvents many of these problems and provides the researcher with a technique that more effectively creates and stores data.
