Abstract: In this paper a general method for numerical analysis of the influence of errors in the manufacturing process of impellers on the dynamic behaviour of a vehicle with a hydrodynamic torque converter is presented. Using this method the parameters of the hydrodynamic torque converter flow area which has a predominant influence on the dynamic behaviour of a vehicle can be shown. Special attention should be paid to those parameters in the manufacturing process. The method is based on the sensitivity analysis of trajectory used in automatic control engineering. The control system equations of a space state were formulated using matrix notation. Thus a computer-aided system can be used.
