International Journal of Computer Applications in Technology (IJCAT), Vol. 10, No. 1/2, 1997

Abstract: This paper aims to explore the possibility of using simulation software in managing two industrial projects. It is intended to explore the strength of simulation as a tool in project management. The investigation of the system's performance can be set out under two conditions as follows: (i) Deterministic - fixed duration time on each activity. (ii) Stochastic - introduces a time variant on each activity, where either uniform or normal time distribution will be used (dealing with uncertainty).
