Abstract: Three different pulse shapes (triangle, parabola, half-sine) are used to compare results of HIC (Head Injury Criterion) and SI (Severity Index) calculated considering the equal energy criterion. According to the obtained results, we conclude that the parameters HIC and SI are nearly non-dependent of pulse shape and possess physical consistence.
