Evaluation of ride comfort

Abstract: Problems of ride quality have been with us since transport began. Passengers are exposed to vibrations which reduce comfort. This paper considers the problem of weighting of specific vibrations occurring in passenger cars during the ride, according to their severity. A passengers' specific sitting position defines the vibration input through seat, feet and hands (for driver only).
