Air inlets for off-road vehicles - an approach to a design methodology
by M.H. Muller, L. Pretorius
International Journal of Vehicle Design (IJVD), Vol. 13, No. 5/6, 1992

Abstract: The following paper shows that by using a combination of experimental and numerical fluid flow techniques, the design process for an air inlet of a typical off-road vehicle may be influenced to a degree. Implementing numerical fluid flow techniques as a design tool can reduce the amount of experimentation needed to qualify the final product.
