Abstract: The selection method for the characteristic of the stiffness of a motorcycle suspension is presented. The driver-vehicle system is described as a system of the stochastic differential equation system, and the variance of the angular displacement of the vehicle body is minimalised. The method allows for the selection of the suspension stiffness to change for different values of horizontal deceleration.
