Vehicle interior noise related to external aerodynamics

Abstract: Vehicle interior noise measurements have been made in the wind tunnel and on the road. The noise in the passenger compartment of vehicles caused by the external flow around the car is analysed. Correlations between pressure fluctuations at the outside body surface of a car and the interior noise are established.
