International Journal of Vehicle Design (IJVD), Vol. 6, No. 6, 1985

Abstract: The challenge of providing meaningful assistance to the automotive system designer in analytically complex and theoretically ambiguous field of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is addressed. The specialized background of engineers and other support personnel required careful targeting of the educational material to specific groups. Experiences from various automotive EMC education programs are used to illustrate different approaches. Specific topics necessary for a successful course and methods of instruction are also discussed.
