Abstract: In this work, Homotopy perturbation method, which is a well-known method for solving functional equations, has been employed to solve the linear two-dimensional Volterra integral equations of the first kind. Convergence of the method for these kinds of equations is addressed. To illustrate the ability of the method, some examples are presented. The results demonstrate the accuracy and the efficiency of the method.
