Abstract: In this study, a visual multimedia presentation platform was created to support students when they were taking the public sport course. This paper describes the impact of using the system on teaching effectiveness of the subject. The experimental group used the system to support their learning and practice while the control group did not use the system but followed the traditional learning method. The result shows that after using the system to learn teaching scenes presented in multimedia resources, the experimental group scored higher in terms of their basketball skills, maintaining their physical quality, participating in extra-curriculum activities and competitions. Also, their perceptions of the subject were more positive than the control group. This paper describes the design of the system and students' results after using the system.
