Abstract: The use of educational games has been shown by their efficiency to help teach in the classroom. In order to evaluate students' learning through this methodology, the present article is the application of the pen game, from the perspective of creating a competition, where teams are judged by the number of participants and the amount and quality of manufactured products. Through detailed analysis of the championship team, we attempted to present the winning plans to students. An assessment was prepared to demonstrate student learning in relation to the concepts applied in the game. The results confirm the assimilation of the concepts planned to play the game as well as showing the approach of the concepts after the initial planning. It is observed that the use of educational games enhances the learning process by facilitating and complementing it.
