Abstract: Online hotel reservation is widely used for planning travel today. Users of reservation services usually refer to other users' reviews before making their decision. However, most reviews are not classified appropriately for users' purposes, and it is difficult to read complete reviews at the time of booking. To solve this problem, this paper provides a method to analyse user reviews in order to discover the characteristic expressions according to their purposes and examines some methods to present beneficial information at the time of reservations. Moreover, we extracted the differences between user reviews by area and between hotels through text mining. From the results of our analysis, we found differences between the expressions and the evaluations each hotel.
