Abstract: The present paper deals with the study of slip effects on entropy generation in viscous incompressible flow over a stretching sheet subjected to a transverse magnetic field in the presence of thermal radiation. By using suitable similarity transformations, the momentum and the energy equations are transformed into nonlinear ordinary differential equations and series solutions are obtained using the homotopy analysis method. The velocity and the temperature profiles are obtained and are utilised to compute the entropy generation number and the Bejan number. The results are discussed and presented through graphs for several values of slip parameter K, magnetic field parameter M, radiation parameter NR and group parameter Br/Ω.
