Abstract: In this paper, an algorithm is developed which allows the solution of the stress characteristics of each of the drive branches of a truck's drive system during a given state and working conditions, and of the whole vehicle during the stress of static engine torque. This algorithm allows the computation of the stress on the individual half-axles when a heavy truck is moving over terrain with different adhesive conditions for each individual wheel, and when some of the differential mechanism has to be blocked.
