Chosen aspects of logistics network design method for production service companies

Abstract: This paper introduces the method of designing logistic network for manufacturing companies. The specificities of manufacturing company and logistics network structure were done with regard to literature review. The problem is to determine optimal number of logistics facilities and assigning production companies to them. It must be done in a way ensuring that cost of servicing area is minimal, meeting production companies' requirements within technical and economic potential of logistics services providers.
