Abstract: This study investigates the relationship between the organisational factors and the performance of knowledge transfer. Five independent variables were examined, namely knowledge information sharing, status of documents, communication flow, human resource procedures and level of incentives policy. These variables were tested against knowledge transfer performance; to achieve in-depth empirical study, the petroleum sector of Sudan was chosen. Data collected through survey method and purposive sampling technique was used. The results of the factor analysis showed that the selected independent variables had been merged into seven factors. Regression analysis was conducted to test the hypothesis. The results revealed significant relationship between some variables (organisational culture, job satisfaction and communication flow) with performance of knowledge transfer; therefore, it is necessary for managers to consider these factors in implementing acknowledgement strategy in organisation. Discussion of the results and conclusion are provided. This study then provides insights for future research avenue.
