Abstract: According to the failure form of the fibreglass oil tubing used in oilfield, the failure reason has been analysed. A computer simulation model has been set up and the finite element analysis has been done with different materials and different screw threads in different well depth. The maximum stress, its position, and the maximum deformation are obtained and the most effective tubing joint and material are determined. The result has important guiding sense to the use of fibreglass oil tubing in oilfield.
