Abstract: CsxWO3 nanoparticles with tuneable size in the range from 20 nm to about 1 μm have been successfully synthesised by a microwave-assisted solvothermal approach. The products were characterised by X-ray diffraction, TEM and EDS measurements. It has been found that the particle size was greatly changed depending on the reaction time. CsxWO3 nanoparticles with a particle size of 20-50 nm showed the high transparency in the visible region, excellent shielding performance of the near-infrared light and limited reflectance of light.
