Abstract: Text document clustering is the technique used to group documents with reference to their similarity in digital library environments. Ontology is playing an increasingly important role in knowledge management and the semantic web. Peer-to-Peer (P2P) systems provide shared access to resources that are spread over the network. To address the problem of modularity, flexibility and scalability in distributed P2P, semantic enhanced hierarchical P2P is determined to be better. In this paper, the semantic analysis mechanism is enhanced with a fuzzy document clustering scheme in a P2P distributed network, which has a capability of providing better clustering results than other clustering methods. Our experiments are conducted on 20 newsgroup data sets. The evaluation result indicates better clustering results by using the fuzzy concept with semantic distributed P2P proposed techniques.
