Abstract: Through our research studies on the methodologies and applications of foresight in Italy, we have carried out various projects at both national and regional levels. By conducting these studies, and by analysing and comparing the results of some of the most important European national and regional foresight activities, we observed some recurring differences and correlations between these projects, due to their regional or national focus. These are presented in this paper.
