Abstract: Put forward two contradictory relationships that the sieve bar size with the sieve bore and its water permeability with the quantity through the sieve. A reasonable solution to the problem is the optimisation of the sieve bar's size and shape. Design a new circular arc corrugated sieve plate (CACSP) and make tests. After analysis the data obtained from the industrial test confirmed that the design is a good plan.
