Abstract: Biomedical signals like heart waves commonly change their statistical property over time and are highly non-stationary signals. For the analysis of these kinds of signals, Wavelet Transform (WT) is a powerful tool. The complete ECG delineation is a fundamental requirement for automatic disease identification. This paper presents standalone delineation algorithm, which individually detects all peaks (P, Q, R, S and T peaks). In this work, firstly, the pre-processing of an ECG signal is done followed by peaks detection using Continuous Wavelet Transform (CWT). Thresholding is used for detection of R peak and other peaks are detected on the basis of positions of the R peaks.
