Abstract: In this paper, the energy and exergy analysis of double-effect lithium bromide/water absorption heat transformer system is presented. All exergy destructed that exist in this system are calculated. In addition to the coefficient of performance and the exergy efficiency of the system, the quantum of exergy destructed of each component of the system is also estimated. The effect of Low Pressure Generator (LPG) temperature on the performance of the double-effect vapour absorption heat transformer is analysed. This study gives an indication of which component of the double-effect absorption heat transformer system should be developed.
