Abstract: Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in women today (after lung cancer) and is the most common cancer among women. According to the American Cancer Society, about 1.3 million women will be diagnosed with breast cancer annually worldwide and about 465,000 will die from the disease. Deaths from breast cancer have decreased too since 1990, likely from earlier detection and advances in treatment. In this paper, we use SAS to analyse and bring out some hidden picture behind the scene. The database we used to this research is 2007 Maryland SID. We have concentrated on race, age, residency location and cost per patient. We try to conclude some relationships between those parameters, especially on race and age. It is expected that findings presented in this paper will provide some additional information to breast cancer researchers.
