Abstract: These brief news items include 1) EU: Joinup, a new collaborative platform offering a variety of services designed to help e-Government professionals share their experience with interoperability solutions and also support them to find, choose, re-use, develop and implement open source software and semantic interoperability assets. 2) The French government release of the beta version of its open government data website data.gouv.fr. 3) The launch of the initiative.eu platform to empower initiators of European Citizen Initiatives to open a deliberative online space for their respective ECI ideas, inviting EU citizens to support and give input in the formulation of their initiatives.
