Health telematics education in Europe

Abstract: This paper presents an overview of the two most important curriculum development projects in Europe. The IT EDUCTRA project develops courseware material in a horizontal way across health care informatics applications. The NIGHTINGALE project develops curriculum and courseware material in nursing informatics. Both projects provide implementation and validation of the courses in a number of sites across Europe.
