Cloud computing adoption

Abstract: Cloud computing has the potential to bring about a paradigm shift in the economics of computing. Tens of millions of consumers, and a much smaller number of small to mid-size businesses have already been using some cloud services. However, large enterprises and governments are not ready to get on the bandwagon just yet. In this paper, I will survey the status of cloud computing, and discuss the issues with some of the major challenges.
