Abstract: This paper investigates the observer design for non-linear switched systems with time delay under asynchronous switching. Firstly, when the switching instants between the observer and the system are asynchronous, the state observer for switched linear systems with time delay is developed; the proposed observer can guarantee exponentially convergence of the estimated state error. Then, the proposed approach is extended to design observer for switched systems with time delay and Lipschitz non-linearities under asynchronous switching. Furthermore, the problem of non-fragile observer design for switched non-linear systems with time delay under asynchronous switching is investigated. Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
