The past, present and future of computers in education - the Hungarian image

Abstract: The paper aims to give an overall view of the past and present role of computers in education within Hungary. The great emphasis of present projects and trends in developing an information infrastructure, adequate content materials, and continuous teacher training, though full of problems, yet projects a future image of an ever promising process.
