Abstract: This study proposes a novel method to dynamically identify the damages of concealed glass curtain wall, in which Hilbert-Huang transform (HHT) is applied in identification of silicone sealants damage of glass curtain wall. Through examining the vibration transmissibility of vibration response signal IMF, a set of parameters for the identification of the silicone sealants damage of glass curtain wall have been established. Both healthy and damaged specimens have been tested through transient dynamic analysis. Experiment results show that the vibration transmissibility parameter can effectively identify silicone sealants damage of glass curtain wall.
