Abstract: T–S Fuzzy multi-model-based non-linear PI controller is designed for blood glucose control system for Type 1 diabetic process. The gap metric technique is applied for the selection of optimal number of local models to satisfy the closed-loop performance of the blood glucose process. To verify the simplicity for commercial viability, the designed multi-model-based non-linear controller is fused on AT89c51. The results of the microcontroller output obtained from hyperterminal are cross-verified by using MATLAB-based control system design.
