International Journal of Global Energy Issues (IJGEI), Vol. 20, No. 3, 2003

Abstract: In this paper, the primary energy ratio and economic benefit of five different heating systems are analysed. The results show that the gas-engine heat pump system has the advantages of high primary energy efficiency and favours environmental protection in contrast to the other four heating systems. At the same time, to improve the economic benefit of the energy saving and environmental protection products, it is suggested that the expense of pollution treatment should be charged.
