Abstract: A design engineer attempting to choose the ideal material for a component is faced with a complex array of independent parameters. This Note outlines CAPS (computer aided polymer selection) which has been developed in cooperation with the Perstorp group which is Scandinavia's largest user of thermoplastic raw material.
