Technical Note: Just-In-Time in a quality motivated managerial environment

Abstract: This report is written to explain the basic concept of JIT and how management must be implemented properly in order for JIT to become a reality. In order to illustrate this point various technical information and examples from companies applying JIT are given. First the history and fundamentals of JIT will be assessed to get a clear meaning of the concept of JIT. Finally the techniques of efficient management will be discussed in detail.
