International Journal of Materials and Product Technology (IJMPT), Vol. 10, No. 1/2, 1995

Abstract: A solution growth technique for the preparation of ZnO thin films is described. Films are deposited on glass substrates placed in a solution containing ethylenediamine complex ions of zinc. Chemical aspects of the oxide deposition are discussed. Electrical conductivity, thickness and spectral transmittance of the films are measured. Films have thickness in the range 20-40 microns, electrical conductivity ≈ 104 ohm-cm and high transmittance in the uv region.
