International Journal of Materials and Product Technology (IJMPT), Vol. 11, No. 1/2, 1996

Abstract: Conditions of carbon-composite materials (CCM) and the main characteristics of designed heat blocks made of CCM for vacuum and gas-filled furnaces are presented. It is noted that heat blocks made of CCM have high economic efficiency. In this paper values are presented of cooling times of heat blocks made from CCM under different cooling conditions, which are the basis of computations of furnace capacity.
