Process safety by controlled adhesive application
by Wolfgang Fleischmann
International Journal of Materials and Product Technology (IJMPT), Vol. 14, No. 5/6, 1999

Abstract: Adhesives are increasingly used in all industrial segments for component assembly. This leads to the need to approach adhesives as an assembly system, which covers all aspects of the application. Using the example of liquid gaskets, the elements of an adhesive assembly system are demonstrated. Options for the implementation of most important key elements – the application and the monitoring system – are explained in detail.
