Abstract: The purpose of the investigation is the development of methods of estimation of energy consumption and intensity of accompanying pollutant emissions caused by a traffic flow taking into account irregularity of movement. The stochastic modelling of mixed traffic flows on multilane road is elaborated in the paper. The paper is the first part of this work. Here, we formulate the terms of a saturated traffic flow, of stable and unstable regime of flows. Determinate and stochastic components of traffic variance are introduced and modelled. The stochastic modelling results of traffic flows made and stochastic fluctuation are investigated.
