Abstract: We investigate the effects of external magnetic field induced Rashba spin-orbit interaction (SOI) on the spin-dependent resonant tunnelling through a ZnSe/Zn1-xMnxSe/ZnSe heterostructure with spin dependent concentration. We observe that spin splitting increases with the magnetic field and the spin-dependent concentration. Also, Rashba SOI enhances the spin-dependent transmission coefficients and current densities. These features could be proposed to design and manufacture of spin sources like spin-dependent microelectronic and optoelectronic devices.
