Conceptualising m-government implementation in the state of Jharkhand

Abstract: This paper contributes to the issue of m-government implementations by exploring ICT and Electronic Government (e-government) in the Jharkhand State, and sheds light on the role of m-government applications for enhancing information and service delivery to business, employees, citizen and government internal effectiveness and efficiency. This also figures out the relevance of security mechanism and potential role that m-government can play in the development of Jharkhand in particular rural Jharkhand. The research is based on current trend of e-government implementations in Jharkhand. This concept can be rolled out in other places with minor modification.
